Cook, 125 pages, hardcover w/dust jacket, stated 1st edition, 1977.... a monograph on the popular Regionalist painter from Missouri, Thomas Hart Benton (1889-1975).a tight, clean copy in a reinforced library edition format.....book never made it to the library, however, and is in very fine condition (possibly unread)....the dust jacket has a few issues with some chipping and light scraping....note the fabulous mural endpapers....."Beautifully designed and illustrated....a handsome tribute to an artist who succeeded in capturing both the spirit and the imagination of the American people"
