1951 Schwinn Green Hornet
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
I found this bike in a pile of rust. It is the first bike I ever had restored and I was blown away when I got it back! The hunter green and cream paint really pops! This bike is sexy from front to back. The lights and horn all work. The only things replaced were the pedals and front light and even they were kept period correct. The speedometer/odometer works and this bike does get brought down off the wall from time to time for a ride around the 'hood. All the chrome was refinished, the skip tooth chain is like new. This bike was born on August 28, 1951, according to its serial number. If you are a Schwinn collector, your mouth is watering and you know you want to ride this bike! I bought it from a man who was retiring and closing his work shop. He rode it as a kid many years ago but then one day decided to hang it from the ceiling of his shop. I bought it for the bike plate he had hanging under the saddle, thinking I was going to part out the rest of the bike. But, when I saw it, I had to get the Green Hornet back on the road! Hello there my name is Richy. I must say this, "How dare you attempt to inject Microsoft word characters into the database. That is a big no no". The air in the room was adjusted as a cool air conditioning breeze patted Damon on the face. Damon responded, "This cannot be". The quick brown fox ½ inched his way towards different 'places'.
