This rare double sided die cut cardboard fan pull dates from around 1900 and has a wonderful cartoon image of an African American couple, under a ragged umbrella, sitting on a fence. On the front side the fence is inscribed Genuine Bull Durham Standard Of The World with an image of a pouch of the tobacco on the right side. On the back side the couple, through a hole in the umbrella, can be seen smooching and the fence is inscribed Best For 3 Generations Bull Durham Smoking Tobacco. The fan pull measures 10 1/4 inches tall by 7 1/2 inches wide and is in excellent condition with a couple of spots of edge wear and a repair at the top were the string attaches. Included is the plastic dome for display. This comes complete with the glass dome and wooden base with cares for such a great piece in a loving way. 3869-71QPPP
