BLATZ CHEWING GUM FULL MATCHBOOK 1920s GRAPE AND PEPPERMINT NEAR MINT SUPER RARE. Here is a very rare item. Blatz the brewery had to stop making beer during prohibition. During that time they began to manufacture other items such as near beer, juices and chewing gum to keep the factory running. These other products weren't manufactured after prohibition was repealed. From the 1920's is an advertising near mint full matchbook of Blatz chewing gum with grape advertising on the front and peppermint on the back. These were made by the Diamond Match Co almost 100 year ago. The staple is a little rusty. The colors are bright as the day they were made. You can look far and wide and chances are slim to none that you won't find on one these in bad condition without the matches. These must have been kept sealed somewhere for all this time.
