Manufactured by Joel Shoemaker of Philadelphia, this coin silver spoon is monogrammed. I think it's "ID". He appears to have been in business after 1793 and died in 1829. This is a very large serving spoon, measuring 9 ½"L. It has been used and needs to be polished. There are no cracks or bends. It weighs 67.7 grams.
