1901 Gem Chopper Cookbook
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Self-published in 1901 by Sargent & Co. of New York, this cookbook is what all owners of Sargent's Gem Food Chopper needed. I don't know if this cookbook came with the chopper or was available for purchase. My mom had a food chopper when we were growing up and I only remember her making ham salad with it. This book contains recipes for everything from soup to salad, main dishes to dessert. There are 207 recipes. The cloth cover is in excellent shape and the two staples aren't even rusty. There are places for notes but this appears to never have been used. It measures approx. 7"H by 4 ½"W.
