ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Dating to the 1940's, thanx was a product of Calgon. This is an 8 ounce sample box and was to be used in either an electric dishwasher or clothes washer. The box has never been opened. The outer cover is a metallic paper with dark and mint green lettering. The top of the box has been bent down causing the upper front to bend in. The cover has a line of discoloration running from just above the "a" in thanx to just above the waves to the left of the star. It still displays well. There is a 1943 Canadian patent and 1945 US patent on the back. It measures approx. 4 ¾"H by 3 ¼"W.
