ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This is a cute 10 inch French Mulatto woman made by Unis France, around 1922, the year that Unis became part of SFBJ. Her French bisque head is marked Unis France and is mold number 60. She has set brown glass eyes. Her open/closed mouth has painted teeth. Her fabulous original black mohair wig is in excellent condition. It is the loveliest wig I have seen on this type of doll; braided around the sides and back, with lovely loose curls to frame the face . Her bisque has no hairlines or chips. There is a slight bit of paint missing on her nose. It is not a chip, but a small rub where the paint has come off. She has a five piece composition body with original finish. There is a small crack on the right arm and some missing composition on the left arm. A charming cabinet size, and all original. She has never been undressed, and wears her lovely regional French costume. She is wearing a long cotton skirt, blouse, shawl, a bead necklace, original under garments and no shoes (none came on her). Please see the pictures as they are part of the description.
