ITEM DESCRIPTION:
SUN RUBBER US ARMY MILITARY M3 SCOUT ARMORED CAR 40'S EARLIER CAMOUFLAGED VERSION NO ROLLER. Here is a very rare earlier version of the M3 scout. This one never had the unditching roller, that is by design. Made by the Sun Rubber Co around the World War II era. 7 long painted hard rubber w/ hard rubber tires. Four machine gunners are in rear of car along w/Radio cast into bed of car. A few paint rubs, mostly evident on red helmets of gunners. Very clean and nice, an excellent example. The wheels have no damage and work well. Very scarce 1940s issue from this famous company. This same vehicle without the camouflage in worse condition sold at Hake's auction house for $188.48 on 5-31-07. A great 70 plus year old rubber military vehicle that still works.
