Keen Kutter Tool Cabinet Scraper
Item: Keen Kutter Tool Cabinet Scraper
With a 1910 patent date this Keen Kutter cabinet scraper, manufactured by E. C. Simmons in St. Louis, is an antique tool that can still be used today. It consists of a metal clamp, attached to a hardwood handle with an adjustable ball and socket, that holds a removable blade. These tools are used to smooth out flat surfaces, often eliminating the need for additional sanding. The Keen Kutter trademark emblem and the August 9,1910 patent date are stamped on the top of the clamp. The tool measures about eleven inches long by three inches wide and is in excellent condition with a nice patina from years of use. 14871-51EP
