1930 Coca Cola Pocket Knife 2 Blade Stainless Steel
Item: 1930 Coca Cola Pocket Knife 2 Blade Stainless Steel
Manufactured by Schrade Cutlery Company in the 1930s, this small 2 blade pocket knife stainless steel handles decorated with art deco style grooves and on one side a rectangular inset embossed Coca Cola. The blades, which have never been sharpened and appear to be unused, measure 1 3/4 inches and 1 1/4 inches long. The knife has a loop on one end so that it can be attached to a pocket watch chain. It measures 2 7/8 inches long by 3/8 inches wide and is in near mint condition. This and other Coca Cola pieces are from the Thom Thompson Estate. Mr. Thompson collected for over 50 years and was a Coke Bottler himself. He received a Special Thanks in Allan Petretti's Coca Cola Price Guide as follows: Thom has always been my number one supporter. Ever since the first edition, he has unselfishly offered his knowledge and collection to help make this book better. Thom and Frances are among the countries top collectors. This book wouldn't be what it is today without their help. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to add a piece with such history to your collection. 16588-71IT
