Toy Town Coca Cola Child's Cutout 1927
Item: Toy Town Coca Cola Child's Cutout 1927
Rare to find these days, these were printed on a light weight paper and were made for children to be able to cut with scissors. Many people do not realize that there were two versions of this. One was for the Canadian folks and one was for the US. This one is the Canadian. Given away by the store owner they were actually a small version of the larger window display which the retailer would have put in the window. Full color, these were given away free to the children and was a great marketing idea from Coca Cola. Free was the word to draw kids in. This one is dated 1927 and features a bustling town with Coca Cola signs everywhere. From a billboard being painted in the middle to street signs and Coca Coca trucks making deliveries. Great image of a city from the 20's. Nice condition with some little paper loss in the lower left hand corner. Uncut and all original. 1242-UI
