CD Kenny Wooden Sock Darner Sewing Giveaway
Item: CD Kenny Wooden Sock Darner Sewing Giveaway
Throwing socks away was a no no in times past. Dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, this wooden sock darner was a free premium, given to customers of the C. D. Kenny Company, a Baltimore, MD. grocer. The darner has a maple finish and is ink stamped C. D. Kenny Co. on the ball. It measures about 6 1/4 inches long with a 2 inch diameter ball and is in near mint condition, appearing to have seen very little use. 3734-WT
