Typewriter Ribbon Tin Knight in Armor Challenge Brand

From the 1930s - 1940s the typewriter ribbon tin held a Challenge Brand typewriter ribbon, manufactured by Consolidated Ribbon and Carbon Co. in Chicago. It has an image of a knight in armor with his shield and pike on the lid and the bottom. The bottom is inscribed We guarantee this ribbon to give entire satisfaction. The ribbon was a red & black 1/2 made for an Underwood typewriter. It is in excellent condition with light edge wear and a couple of small scratches on the bottom. 11116-90QI
