Dating from the 1920s or 1930s, this unusual tubular cardboard container is decorated on the sides with 6 colorful panels depicting 2 children, holding lighted sparklers, standing on a lawn while a lady dressed in flowing Eastern attire, holding another lighted sparkler, stands in the background. The panels are inscribed Electric Twinkling Sparklers Ramji Fire Works Latest Novelty. The cardboard lid, which appears to have come off another container, is decorated on the sides with an image of a boy and girl walking along a country lane as a fireball explodes behind them and is inscribed China Atom Bomb Manufacturers: China Fire Works. There is a trade mark logo made in the image of the Taj Mahal in the lower left corner and a decal on the top of the lid inscribed Naugbaux Cobra Eggs Best Quality China Fire Works Made In India.
