This Madame Alexander Louisa doll will delight any little girl with her white satin dress, trimmed in white netting and silver trim. Her blonde hair is swept up on her head and braided in back. Never out of the box until I took these pictures. This president's wife was a little different than other presidential wives as she was the first lady born abroad. While first known as a skilled hostess, due to illness and depression and the lose of several of her children she withdrew from public life. The doll owner had purchased and put away.
