C D Kenny Coffee Boy with Turkey Tip Thanksgiving Tray
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Manufactured by Kaufmann & Strauss in about 1910, this colorfully lithographed tin tip tray was a free premium, given to customers by C. D. Kenny Company, a purveyor of coffees, teas, and sugar, based in Baltimore, MD. The tray is decorated with an image of a young lad in knickers, entering his house with the Thanksgiving turkey under his arm. The bottom rim is inscribed Thanksgiving Greetings compliments of C. D. Kenny Co. The tray measures 5 1/8 inches in diameter and is in good condition with scratches, fading, and surface wear. 1116-QPP
