This clean miniature hat box has wonderful images of a smiling Santa holding a tiny hat around the sides. Inside is a miniature plastic hat. These miniatures were given as gifts at Christmas to be redeemed at the clothing store for a full sized example. That way you didn't need to know the recipient's hat size. It dates from the 1940's or 1950's, measures about two and three quarters inches tall by four and a quarter inches long, and is in excellent condition with some very light staining on the underside.
