ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Rare and beautiful circa 1920's-1930's mahogany showcase that held Viking Chocolates, made by Barker & Dobson, an English candy producer. The case is a fairly large counter top display with a glass front, sides, and two glass shelves. It has solid wood double doors in the back. An arched cornice on top of the case has B&D transfer emblems on the ends and inscribed in gold Barker Dobson, Est'd. 1834, Viking Chocolates, Regd. across the center. The case is in excellent condition with the original glass and finish. There are several thumb tack holes in the cornice, probably from hanging a banner or festoon. It measures 35 1/2 tall by 41 3/4 wide by 12 deep. Lock has been taken out due to it locking and no key. This is not a standard shippable item via Postal Service or FedEx/UPS.
