Antique Country Store Counter Faux Wood grain
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This circa 1900 pine store counter has a single panel on the front and the ends and an open back with two shelves made of scraps of wood. The counter is still decorated with its original faux woodgrain paint on the sides and old red mahogany paint on the top. A neat feature is the strip of brass nails added to the back edge of the top in eighteen inch increments, most likely for measuring cloth. Remember, general stores sold practically everything in 1900 and most rural folks made their own clothes. The counter measures thirty-two inches tall by one hundred twenty-eight inches long by twenty-eight inches deep and is in excellent condition with lots of honest wear and scratches, mainly on the top. This is not a standard shippable item via Postal Service or FedEx/UPS. It will require an oversized quote provided by a 3rd Party Shipper. Please contact us for more information and transit time. Of course, we love customers, so you are more than welcome to pick it up at our location and browse our two stores! 14870-51QQWT
