ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Manufactured by Graff Washbourne and Dunn, this sterling tea strainer has a medium colored wood handle with a finial. On the underside near the handle is their hallmark surrounding the word "Sterling". Below the hallmark is the number 2053, with the 2 laying on it's side. The handle is firmly attached and there are no cracks. The sterling body features a 6-pointed star in the bottom and a shallow serrated edge. This is supposed to sit atop a small bowl for the liquid to drain in but I don't have that part. There are no bends, dings or deep scratches. The company was in business from 1899 until 1961 when it sold to Gorham. It measures approx. 2 3/4W by 1H. Free shipping to US addresses only!
