ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Dating from around 1910, this lithographed tin tip tray is decorated with an image of a Geisha serving two glasses of iced tea on a black lacquered tray and is inscribed on the rim For Iced Tea Use Cheon. In tiny letters at the base of the image, it is inscribed C. D. Kenny Co. and was a free premium given to customers of the Baltimore coffee, tea, and sugar seller. The tray measures 4 3/8 inches in diameter and is in excellent condition with a 1 inch long stain on the image, surface crazing, and fading. Still colorful and desirable as tip trays come.
