ITEM DESCRIPTION:
What a compact and it was very expensive when purchased as a souvenir of the 1939 World's Fair Compact. Enamel decorated lid with an image of the Trilon and Perisphere in the center and four other buildings around the outside. The underside of the lid has a mirror and there is a face powder puff marked Columbia Fifth Avenue inside. The bottom of the compact is soft red cloth. It is in wonderful condition condition. 6630-11TP
