ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This unusual five gallon drum is red, white, and blue and originally held Standard Liquid Gloss Polish and Dressing, a product manufactured by Standard Oil Company. It has a bale handle and the front has been decorated with the Standard Oil Torch emblem and an image of a hand using a polishing cloth. At the base it is inscribed For Furniture, Woodwork, Floors, Varnished, Enameled, or Finished Surfaces. Detailed instructions are listed on the back of the drum. It measures 13 inch tall by 12 inch in diameter and is in excellent condition with minor nicks and dings. Circa 1950's. 13128-31WP
