ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This beautifully lithographed die cut cardboard advertising Horn & Rodenheiser Die Cut Dated 1891 Belleville IL. and was a souvenir of their opening (marked at the top). Great image of a group of school girls, framed in dogwood blossoms, walking down a snow covered lane, while other girls are having a snow ball fight. Picture is shown like a painter's palette, it has a thumb hole in the lower right corner with a paint brush resting in it and it is inscribed 1891 in the lower left corner. The privilege panel at the top is inscribed Opening Souvenir Horn & Rodenheiser, Dry Goods, Notions and Fancy Goods 207 East Main St., Belleville, Illinois. Measures 7 1/4 inches tall by 10 inches wide and is in excellent condition with minor edge wear. It has been framed for display and protection. 16982-71ETP
