1895 Kis Me Chewing Glass Gum Store Display Louisville KY

ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Rare early store display for Kis-Me Gum has wonder clean printed label on the top of the box. The gum would be placed under glass to keep anyone from just picking up a small piece. The box is an original color, which again is hard to find. Original glass with orange trim, top which mounts to top has a replacement beige replacement. At one time a corner of the box was torn an a piece of brown tape was put inside. This does not show or distract from the overall appearance. Clurk & Co signature). While it does have some repairs, I believe these were made many years ago. Not sure if it orginally had a paper label on the top, has looks to have something pulled off. The orange color is has the paper 'alligator' leatherette look. If you have gum this is what you need to show it off! 9988-WTP
