Bookmark Celluloid Libby Meats
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
If I had a personal collection these old bookmarks would be the thing I would collect. The colors and graphics are wonderful and were special things for people back in the early 1900's. There were not many books back then and normally the only book that a family had was a Bible. This colorful celluloid bookmark with a wonderful image of a red rose and the inscription Libby's canned meats are the best, manufactured by Libby, McNeill, & Libby, Chicago. The back of the bookmark has an image of a winged longhorn steer at the top and lists the Libby's Canned Meats products below. It is in excellent condition with a slight crease on a rose pedal and light soiling in a couple of spots. 7116-11WU
