ITEM DESCRIPTION:

At one time a common sight in apothecary shops and candy stores, this early machine made jar in the Dakota pattern, dates from the first quarter of the 20th century. It has a footed base and a non-ground conical lid and appears to hold about 16 ounces. With the lid the jar measures about 8 3/4 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at the shoulder and is in near mint condition. 16883-71OP
