Manufactured by the American Can Company in the early 1930s, this rare tin display stand is designed to rest on a counter or be hung on a wall. Designed as a point of sale display, it holds 1 box of 40 Sen-Sen chewing gum 5c packages, enticing shoppers to make an extra purchase. The back panel of the display is decorated with an image of a pretty young lady and is inscribed Sen-Sen sweetens the breath 5c. The display measures 6 7/8 inches tall by 5 7/8 inches wide by 3 1/4 inches deep and is in good condition with areas of surface loss and rust on the lower right side and some minor scratches and edge wear. The display includes an empty Sen-Sen box. 1410-81
