Country Store Glass Candy Container Metal Lid
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This large globe shaped glass store candy jar has a slant bottom and a hinged aluminum lid and dates from the 1930's. It has no embossing or labeling and would have held penny candies originally. It measures about ten inches tall by ten inches in diameter and is in excellent condition with a tiny flea bite on the rim that may have occurred during manufacturing. It looks like it would hold over a gallon. These old store jars make great flour or sugar jars for a country kitchen. 9905-41ET
