ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Manufactured by Tootsietoy in the early 1930s, this rare diecast pot metal mechanical toy features comic strip character Moon Mullins riding on the tailgate of the KO Ice Company delivery truck. When the truck is pushed across the floor Moon bounces up and down. The toy measures about 1 3/8 inches tall by 3 inches long by 1 3/8 inches wide and is in good condition. The actuating arm that causes Moon to rise and fall has broken off the back of his body and there is some paint flaking on the wheels and the top of his hat. 1142-41OY
