Primitive Folk Art Hooked Rug
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
The folk art handmade hooked rug were part of every day history. This scene is of a a wonderful cottage on a country road and floral decorations in the corners. It is in excellent condition with great colors and no wear. Hook rugs were popular with housewives as creative ways to decorate their floor. My mom also did them in the 1950's and 1960s however, they had patterns printed on the woven material.
