Columbia Pattern Large Apothecary Store Candy Jar 16 Inch
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Dating from the first quarter of the 20th century, this scarce candy jar, made by Tiffin in the Columbia pattern, was once a common sight in candy shops and country stores. Measuring 16 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter at the shoulder, it has a footed base and a swirled, cone shaped top. The jar measures 15 1/2 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter at the shoulder and is in near mint condition. It is an early machine made jar and does not have a ground top.
