ITEM DESCRIPTION:

What a great opportunity to have your jewelry separated into drawers. This circa 1870' - 1880's six drawer miniature chest of drawers with bracket feet. It is made of walnut with poplar and pine secondary woods and dovetail joints. It was a painted piece originally and appears to have been some type of store display piece, perhaps a small spool cabinet or hardware case. All of the exterior panels are walnut except for the top which is poplar. There may have been another chest that mounted onto the top to form a chest on chest. It has single brass knobs which appear to be original and a newer refinish. It makes an excellent jewelry box. It measures 13 wide by 8 1/2 deep by 16 3/4 tall. 6512-WUT
