Coca Cola Magazine Cover Minneapolis Journal 1916
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Coca Cola invested lots of money in its advertising. Back then not many companies did that. One of their marketing what targeted towards women. This surviving magazine is dated May 14, 1916 and a great early advertisement for Coca Cola with an image of two women holding glasses of their favorite drink. One is holding a tennis racket and the other golf clubs. Complete magazine with lots of interesting stories, including one on The Man in the Engine-Cab, Does Travel Pay, and Jobs Which No Salary Should Be Paid. It was super rare for a company to use full color advertising during that period as it was very expensive. Enjoy some of the history of Coca Cola and the world.
