Coca Cola Salesman Sample Glascock Standard Cooler 1929
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Identical to the full sized version in every way, this rare salesman's sample is a miniature version of the original Glascock Coca Cola cooler, first manufactured in 1929. The open base frame is olive green with red panels, inscribed Serve Yourself Drink Coca Cola Please Pay The Clerk, on all 4 sides. The inside has a galvanized liner with a center drain for the ice water and the removable lid, hinged in the middle, opens on either end. Underneath are 4 miniature case boxes for empties that come with 79 miniature bottles. There is even a tiny bottle opener and removable cap catcher on the side. The cooler measures 13 1/4 inches tall by 10 1/2 inches wide by 8 inches deep and is in excellent condition with very little wear, other than a few nicks and scratches. There are some paint drips on the lid and one of the castors has come apart and been repaired. We are will be glad to send more pictures if interested. 16933-71QITPP
