ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This beautifully designed die cast toy car was manufactured by Ohio based Doepke Toys during the 1950's. It is a pretty authentic copy of an MGTD roadster and was originally sold as a model kit to be assembled by the purchaser. The body, bumpers, grill shell, wheels, etc. all unbolt from the frame. It measures about five and a half inches tall by fifteen inches long and is in gently played with condition with some paint chips, some burned spots on the seats, and a broken windshield frame. The steering wheel appears to be a replacement part and is not attached to the shaft. The windshield frame is available on line. 14879-41QRQ
