Studebaker 1930s Automobile Sales Brochure Rockne Six 65
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This rare sales brochure advertises an even rarer automobile. The Rockne Six 65 was a brand manufactured by Studebaker in 1932 and 1933 and, yes, it was named after the famous Notre Dame football coach. Apparently Knute Rockne was involved with the car as a publicist. He died in a plane crash shortly before the car was introduced. The brochure has beautiful color images of the four models: four door sedan, two door coach, coupe, and roadster, along with cutaway views of the drivetrain components, chassis, and brakes. Because of the financial constraints of the Depression the car was produced for only a short time. The brochure measures nine and three eighths inches tall by seven and a quarter inches wide and is in excellent condition with only minor edge wear. 15007-51TO
