ITEM DESCRIPTION:
A wonderful example of a near mint in the box Japanese mechanical toy. Made in the late 1950s of non-inflammable acetate. This toy is called Hungry Chicks and may have been introduced around the Easter season. When wound up with the attached key the top spins as the 3 little chicks in the center portion bob up and down. To see this and other toys we offer in action click on the video link below. The original box is also in near mint condition with no rusted staples, broken corners, tears, stains or repairs. The original price sticker from W.T. Grants is still firmly attached to one end of the box. pc421
