Very cool men's store display from the 1950's when skinny ties were hip! Also known as a Rockabilly Tie Flat Bottom, all the cool kids wore these ties to the high school dances and out on dates. Superba Tie Company made the Mustang line of ties, and this counter display features a Mustang horse, a horseshoe, and a horseshoe nail. The base and the back are made of wood with the back screwed to the base. The Mustang horse is plastic and glued to the wooden base. the horseshoe and the horseshoe nails are actual metal, and the tie hangs from the horseshoe nail on the side. The customer could see and feel the actual tie made of 100% Dacron and even try it on to see how it looked on himself! We are including the tie, it really brings the store display to life! 18046-02QTP
