This great diecast toy was manufactured by Hubley in the mid 1950's. The Kiddie Toy No. 509 is a 1954 Corvette with a hood that opens to reveal the Blue Flame Six and a deck lid that opens to a trunk with a spare tire. The seats, dash, and windshield are made of plastic and the steering wheel actually turns the front wheels. The toy is quite large, about three and a half inches tall by twelve and a half inches long and is in excellent, played with condition with chips and scratches in the paint. The plastic windshield and dash are slightly warped. 14873-41UT
