ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Three pretty young ladies wearing impressive hats grace this 1914 calendar. Known as, yard long calendar has metal ends and insets showing the days of each month. On the back is an advertisement for Dean's Mentholated Cough Drops. Each lady has a large brimmed hat with different accents. Two has flowers and the third has a large feather hat. One looks to the left, one to the right and one just is just looking at you. Good condition for the age of the piece. Both original metal strips at the top and bottom are there, and the calendar has been mounted to the green back with a T mount. The weak places at the top and bottom have been secured with archival tape on the back also. Some small tears in the paper have been secured using the archival tape also. Remember this was a throwaway paper calendar the evening of December 31, 1914. Unusual for a calendar to have advertising on both the front and back. 16981-71QPP
