Falls City Branch Louisville KY Celluloid Pocket Mirror
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This rare celluloid pocket mirror dates from the late 19th or early 20th century and is decorated with an image of a lady, in her bathrobe, reading a note. It is inscribed Falls City Branch No. 14 Louisville, KY. around the edge. I'm not 100% certain, but I think it's referring to the National Association of Letter Carriers, a postal union now affiliated with the AFL-CIO. Branch 14 is the Louisville chapter of the union. The pocket mirror measures about 2 inches in diameter and is in good condition with scratches and wear on the celluloid top and most of the silvering gone off the mirror. 3847-61QWT
