ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Rosemeade Pottery male (3 tall x 2 wide) & female (2-3/4 tall x 1-3/4 wide) turkey salt & peppers were one of many local native bird sets made by them in Wahpeton ND 1940-61 with North Dakota clays. Very detailed & colorful, these were sold in gift & department stores, & also popular items in the souvenir shops in the area. Great for any S&P collection or for the Thanksgiving table.
