ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Rosemeade Pottery male (3 tall x 1-1/4 wide) & female (2 tall x 1 wide) pheasant salt & peppers were one of many local native bird sets made by them in Wahpeton ND 1940-61 with North Dakota clays. Very detailed & colorful, these were sold in gift & department stores, & also popular items in the souvenir shops. Male still has Rosemeade ND sticker & female still has souvenir of Bily Clocks sticker - which was in Spillville IA. These are hard to find with their long tails intact. Great for any S&P collection.
