Advertising in the old country store was wonderful and they used their imagination to come up with ideas to advertise their products. This is a large 23 inch store display that looked exactly like the box of their Williams' Vanilla Extract. This rare shipping and store display box dates from around 1910 and originally held bottles of Williams' Vanilla Extract. The wooden box is decorated like the small boxes that the bottles of extract came in. When the shipment of extract arrived, the shop keeper would just sit on the counter and could reach inside to get you a bottle of Vanilla out.. The box measures about twenty-three inches tall by nine inches wide by seven inches deep and is in good condition. Has age staining from years of use. The left lower corner has the paper reglued. Definitely has a lot of Country Store character. 14689-41EPP
