Salesman Sample Griswold Miniature Serving Kettle

Rare early 20th century Griswold cast iron salesman sample serving kettle with its original lid. It is a miniature version of the small Dutch oven type pot that the company produced. It has a bright nickel finish, a bail handle, and is embossed on the bottom No. 00 serving kettle, Griswold, Erie, PA., U. S. A. 579. The lid is embossed 581 on the underside. These items are quite rare and this example is in excellent condition with minor spotting and an area of light surface rust on the underside of the lid. 7700-21WPU
