ITEM DESCRIPTION:

REX MARS MARX PLANET PATROL SPACE GUNS 2 OF THEM 1950 WIND UP HARD TO FIND. Here is not one but 2 Rex Mars Space Guns by Marx or as they call it the Rocket -2. I collected toys for 30 years and these are the only two that I have acquired during that time. These are both made of tin and plastic and are 21.5 inches long. I will describe both. The first one with the black handle is complete, the tin is nice and the plastic for the most part is nice except the handle which broke when I caught it in my own car door. It's been glued and complete. There is some warpage at the seam. The wind up key just turns, the spring must be sprung. Super nice for display. The next one with the blue handle is in great condition, the tin is nice and clean, there is some waviness on the tin in the front section. The plastic is complete with no breaks. The wind up and trigger does work if you wind it up quite a bit (Be careful) The flint is gone so, it does not spark. Nice clean 70+ year old vintage space guns from the iconic Rex Mars line by Marx for one money. These are hard to find guns in any condition. Please check out my other vintage toys.
