1913 Hutchinson's Purity Ice Cream Round Tin Serving Tray

Rather than use some old picture of a sundae or ice cream waiting to be eaten, Hutchinson's Purity Ice Cream used a great looking gal enjoying her vanilla ice cream with a smile a mile wide! This tray also shows the marketing smarts used by Hutchinson's, as they have their name three places on the inside lip of the tray. That way when the server put the tray on the table, the customers would see the Hutchinson's Purity Ice Cream name wherever they sat. A few chips with paint loss around the outer lip of the tray show this tray was used in an ice cream parlor. Some small scratches in the face of the sign that are visible up close. The back of the tray has a few marks and some tape residue from being displayed.
