Lithographed tin windup toy from Japan. This toy is called Animal See-Saw and was produced in Japan with a Hishimo trademark on the bottom. This may have been a statement by Japan about our two party political system here in the U.S.A. When wound with the attached key the two animals see-saw back and forth while playing the drum. Condition is near mint with no wear on the drum head from being hit with the sticks. The Zebra's ears are thin rubber and very fragile. One has broken off, see last picture.
